The workshop was delivered by Mr. Sufyan Idris Al-Barzanji. The workshop aimed to: Introduce the concept of civil defense and emphasize its institutional and societal importance. Promote a culture of public safety and fire prevention awareness. Identify common causes of fires and discuss effective preventive measures. Provide practical training on the proper use of manual firefighting equipment. Explain evacuation procedures and appropriate conduct during emergency situations. Enhance awareness regarding the importance of periodic maintenance of safety equipment and systems. This workshop forms part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Veterinary Medicine to strengthen safety awareness and institutional preparedness within the academic environment.
