This initiative reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to attract international students and foster academic openness and scientific and cultural exchange. The welcoming ceremony was attended by several faculty members and staff from the department. Yasser was introduced to the university environment, the curriculum of the Department of Environmental Health, and the nature of the studies. He was also shown the scientific laboratories and research facilities that the department provides to support the educational process. The college administration emphasized that accepting international students into the Department of Environmental Health aligns with the objectives of the “Study in Iraq” program, which aims to highlight the standing of Iraqi higher education, strengthen scientific cooperation with students from various countries, and create a multicultural learning environment that facilitates the exchange of experiences and knowledge. At the conclusion of the reception, the college administration and the department head expressed their best wishes to Yasser Abdul Jabbar Suleiman for success in his studies, affirming the college’s readiness to provide all forms of academic and administrative support to ensure the best possible academic outcomes.
