Scope This policy applies to: All green spaces and environmental facilities within the university campus. All academic, administrative, and research activities, as well as gardening and construction projects, that may lead to the introduction or spread of invasive species. 4. Principles / Commitments Environmental Responsibility : The university is committed to safeguarding local biodiversity. Prevention First : Avoiding the introduction or cultivation of invasive species on campus. Collaboration : Working with local and international environmental authorities to combat invasive species. Transparency : Publicly reporting efforts to monitor and manage invasive species. Education and Awareness : Promoting knowledge about the risks of invasive species and encouraging sustainable practices. 5. Procedures / Implementation Mechanisms Monitoring and Environmental Surveys : Conducting regular surveys to identify and classify invasive species. Preventive Measures : Prohibiting the planting of invasive species. Ensuring cleanliness of tools and equipment to prevent the transfer of seeds or organisms. Management and Control : Removing invasive species through environmentally safe methods. Establishing a rapid response team to address outbreaks or spread of invasive species.
