Owing to its central position, the Student Center serves as a hub for major celebrations, official events, exhibitions, and diverse university activities. Student Affairs and Registration Department This department represents the academic and administrative lifeline of the University, accompanying students from admission through to graduation. It oversees processes such as enrollment, transfers, hosting, and the issuance of official documents. Its roots date back to the founding of the University in 1967, and since then it has evolved into one of the core pillars of the University’s administrative structure. Student Club Established in 1967 on an area of 5,250 m² across two floors, the Student Club functions as a social and service center offering a variety of food and beverages to students, faculty, and staff. All services are subject to regular health supervision and monitoring. Known for its subsidized prices, the Club is dedicated to serving the University community while fostering a welcoming space for interaction and leisure. Far more than a service building, the Student Center is a comprehensive system that combines academic, cultural, and social dimensions. It delivers knowledge, recreation, and hospitality services through its specialized facilities, meeting the needs of students, faculty, and staff alike. In doing so, it reflects the University’s vision of building an integrated campus environment that strengthens belonging and fosters positive interaction. Book House Unit Opened in 1967 on an area of 550 m², the Book House is an active knowledge hub. It maintains agreements with 11 local publishers and 6 Arab publishing houses, in addition to its collaboration with 55 professors and researchers who contribute academic and research outputs. Fine Arts Hall Founded in 1967 under the Student Activities Department, this hall is dedicated to organizing art exhibitions and creative displays of handicrafts. It serves as an artistic space that nurtures aesthetic appreciation, cultivates student talents, and reinforces the University’s role in supporting cultural and artistic activities. Student Center Theatre Also inaugurated in 1967, the Student Center Theatre is among the most notable halls of the Student Activities Department. With a capacity of 250 seats, it hosts artistic, cultural, and theatrical events, as well as small-scale meetings and seminars. Since its establishment, the theatre has provided a platform for student creativity and has been a vital venue for cultural and artistic engagement that enriches campus life.
