This includes facilitating short-term exchanges, traineeships, and volunteering opportunities, providing direct pathways for skill development and personal growth on the international stage. Enhance Academic Excellence and Innovation: By engaging with programs like Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters and Jean Monnet Activities , we significantly improve academic quality. We ensure our students and staff are exposed to cutting-edge research methodologies, innovative teaching practices, and specialized academic content from partner institutions worldwide. Boost Cooperation and Institutional Capacity Building: Our unit actively champions collaboration between the University of Mosul and its EU and international counterparts through Capacity Building projects. Erasmus+ Incoming Mobility Erasmus+ Incoming Mobility Application Procedure University of Mosul – International Relations & Erasmus+ Office The University of Mosul (UoM) welcomes Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM – KA171) students and staff from EU partner universities with an active mobility agreement. Only participants officially nominated by their home university are eligible to apply for Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Mosul. 1. Nomination Process Partner universities must nominate their students or staff members before the application process begins. Nomination Email 📩 [email protected] Nomination Deadlines Students: 31 August – for the Autumn Semester or Full Academic Year Academic or Administrative Staff: Staff members should contact the host academic contact and coordinate mobility dates accordingly . (No fixed deadline — mobility should take place within the project implementation period .) Application Procedure After partner universities select and nominate their students or staff members to participate in the programme and submit their nominations to the University of Mosul (UoM), the university will review the nominations to ensure they meet the academic and mobility requirements of the programme. Following this review, the University of Mosul will confirm the final acceptance of nominated participants and send them detailed instructions on how to complete the application process and submit the required documents. Course selection and academic recognition are managed by the Academic Affairs Department at the University Presidency, in coordination with Bologna Process Units within each faculty. Eligible participants must be enrolled (students) or employed (staff) at UoM during the mobility period. 1. Eligibility & Available Opportunities Erasmus+ outbound mobilities are available only for students and staff from the University of Mosul whose departments have an active Erasmus+ KA171 agreement with a partner university abroad.
