Established in 1986, they were designed as an integrated center that combines academic, clinical, and research functions, thereby serving as a vital hub for both the College and the University at large. These clinics represent a comprehensive model where clinical education, community service, and scientific research intersect. They are not merely treatment facilities, but advanced academic and research platforms that prepare new generations of dentists capable of serving their communities with competence while contributing to the advancement of dental healthcare in Iraq. Academic Role The clinics provide a fully integrated clinical learning environment, enabling both undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain hands-on experience in treating patients under the direct supervision of a distinguished faculty team. Structure and Design The building occupies an area of 2,000 square meters—approximately one-third of the total space of the College of Dentistry. It consists of two floors designed for functionality, ensuring ease of movement and organization between clinics, service units, and administrative offices. This layout reflects the University’s vision of creating a modern educational environment characterized by efficiency and effectiveness. Clinical and Community Service Role Beyond their educational mission, the clinics play an essential role in serving the local community by offering comprehensive dental care across various specialties.
