Goals Work to complete, develop and update academic curricula (theoretical) for different stages. Continuation of clinical training for different stages in the branch and according to the schedule prepared for this purpose, an average of five days for the sixth stage and two – three days for other stages. Developing exams in line with scientific developments in the world. So, we have decided that the format of exams for this year should be in the form of multiple-choice questions for the first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth stages. (Electronic correction with an OMR device) with explanatory questions in the form of medical cases. It is worth noting that the medical department is the first clinical department that use this method in exams in a distinguished way. The college was ranked second in Iraq through the experimental ministerial examination of internal medicine. Also trying to use OSCE method in future clinical exams if available Inserting educational slides and films into clinical teachings for the various stages and uploading lectures and seminars to electronic platforms. Continuing to hold teaching sessions prepared for the sixth stage and encouraging students to present medical cases for discussion. Encourage lecturers in the department to participate in scientific conferences inside and outside Iraq (teaching staff from the department was participated in many conferences held inside and outside Iraq, and in scientific seminars held by the college’s departments, in the department of medicine, and in the hospitals of the Health Department, (Symposium on Covid and its impact on society) (News in cardiovascular diseases) (Symposiums on dermatology and an awareness video on early detection of breast cancer). Contribution of department members to community service (establishment of the Hematology Division in Ibn Sina teaching hospital Education & Field visits to treat patients in the district and contribute to the provision of psychiatric consultations Working to open subspecialties in the Iraqi Board ( hematology , neurology, respiratory, urology and rheumatology). About the department of Medicine The department of medicine was established in 1962, and it is considered one of the largest clinical departments in the college. At the beginning of its establishment, the department included the following divisions: the department of Pharmacology, the department of Pediatrics, and the department of Public Health, which later became independent departments. Its teaching staff at the beginning of its establishment were non-Iraqis, Until the end of the 1960s, only four Iraqis were members (Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Amin Al-Jalili, Prof. Dr. Ezz-Aldeen Shkara, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Jawadi, and Prof. Dr. Taher Qasim Al-Dabbagh), then the branch developed with the efforts of its organizers and now has 25 teaching staff in various specialties of (of internal medicine and the divisions of psychiatry and dermatology, as well as 12 doctors who joined the staff of the department in recent years to be qualified after completing postgraduate studies to be members of the teaching staff in the future.The department also teaches different stages in the College of Medicine (the first stage – basics of medicine in association  with the Community Medicine department, the third stage – theoretical and clinical internal medicine, the fourth stage – theoretical and clinical internal medicine – behavioral sciences, the fifth stage – internal medicine – dermatology and Theoretical and clinical psychology – the sixth stage, clinical teaching and discussion seminars (the teaching staff contribute in teaching postgraduate students in the Iraqi Board,
