May peace and blessings be upon the greatest teacher of humanity, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad bin Abdullah, his pure household, and his chosen companions all of them. The College of Education for Pure Sciences is considered a vital and important member of the university’s structure, occupying advanced positions among other colleges, as it represents the foundation that integrates both education and teaching simultaneously. It is entrusted to prepare competent staff that capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of teaching and education, especially at the intermediate and secondary school levels. Giving this college its due care and attention including all its faculty members, staff, administrators, and students constitutes the real starting point for advancing the college and achieving its educational goals by the development on both the scientific and educational ways. It also ensures the provision of an academic environment aligned with our students’ aspirations for progress and scientific development, fostering excellence, creativity, and a spirit of responsibility that paves the way to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Based on our belief that the student is at the center of the educational process, for this, modern programs and a strategic plan have been established, operating within the frameworks approved by the university system. These frameworks are under close supervision and full support from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the esteemed President of the University of Mosul. The graduates of this college are among the most qualified to prepare the inputs for all other colleges, as the optimal preparation of teachers is the foundation for training professionals in all vital life disciplines such as medicine, engineering, various sciences, and literature as the teacher is considered the critical and active role in building and empowering society. This obligates us to work tirelessly and diligently, without fatigue, to make our college a shining example in preparing scientifically, intellectually, and educationally outstanding teacher individuals who are distinguished and keep pace with the intellectual, scientific, and technological development that is continuously happening across the world. The teacher plays a pivotal role as the link in transferring this development to society, forming the basis for building a new generation capable of creating a progressive society. Our highest duty is to invest in the tremendous energies of our scientific, administrative, and educational staff within the college, across various disciplines; such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science. In addition to promising planning and resource to provide all necessary requirements to fulfill the noble mission and goals of this generous college, by developing human resources and logistical capabilities in various fields to elevate our college and our prestigious university to be at the forefront of Iraqi universities and on par with reputable global universities at all levels. We ask Allah to grant us success in serving our great country, Iraq, and contributing to its construction on solid foundations.
