This scientific event aimed to promote and institutionalize a culture of academic research among students, while encouraging the production of rigorous and impactful scientific studies that contribute to the advancement of the veterinary sector and the service of society. Furthermore, the conference sought to enhance students’ competencies in scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and academic discourse. The scientific discussion committee consisted of the following faculty members: Professor Dr. Hanaa Khalil Ismail – Chairperson Professor Dr. Diaa Mohammed Taher – Member Professor Dr. Nadia Hamed Ahmed – Member Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Osama Abdul Majeed – Member Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Mohammed Amin – Member Assistant Professor Dr. Safana Khudair Mahmoud – Member Assistant Professor Dr. Elias Khudair Hussein – Member The sessions conducted during the first day of the conference featured distinguished scientific discussions characterized by academic rigor, objectivity, and constructive engagement. These discussions reflected the significant research efforts undertaken by the students under the supervision of their faculty mentors. The conference also underscored the pivotal role of the College of Veterinary Medicine in preparing a generation of researchers capable of contributing effectively to scientific advancement and community development.
