The symposium targeted students and graduates of the College of Medicine and covered the following topics: 1- Life-saving and immediate intervention: Providing rapid and effective emergency care for pregnant women and women in critical conditions to reduce mortality. 2- Diagnosis of critical cases: Enabling obstetricians to detect and diagnose emergency cases early and quickly. 3- Management of pregnancy and childbirth complications: Training participants to manage common cases such as postpartum hemorrhage, severe pre-eclampsia, and eclampsia. 4- Handling gynecological emergencies: Managing other gynecological complications such as acute uterine bleeding. This symposium is part of the Continuing Medical Education program and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 5 – Gender Equality, Goal 8 – Decent Work and Partnerships, and Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
