It supports students in understanding the anatomical foundations necessary for clinical applications. Medical Physics Laboratory The Medical Physics Laboratory focuses on the study of physical principles related to medical equipment and radiation, contributing to the understanding of medical diagnostic technologies. Computer Laboratory The Computer Laboratory aims to enhance students’ skills in the use of computers, advanced educational and research software, and artificial intelligence applications. Chemistry Laboratory The Chemistry Laboratory specializes in the study of chemical principles and reactions of materials used in the medical field and their relevance to dentistry, including general chemistry and biochemistry. General Histology and Medical Biology Laboratory This laboratory is concerned with the study of the normal histological structure of body cells and tissues in order to understand pathological changes. It also includes the study of cells and their types, as well as oral parasites associated with diseases of the mouth and teeth. Physiology Laboratory The Physiology Laboratory focuses on the study of the functions of various body systems and their correlation with pathological conditions in dentistry. It also examines different physiological variables and their relationship to oral and dental diseases. Pharmacology Laboratory The Pharmacology Laboratory is dedicated to the study of drugs, their therapeutic and adverse effects in dentistry, as well as their uses and impact on oral and dental health. Microbiology Laboratory The Microbiology Laboratory specializes in the study of microorganisms responsible for oral diseases, their modes of transmission, methods of diagnosis and treatment, and the mechanisms by which microorganisms cause diseases of the mouth and teeth. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department Total number of laboratories (5) Fourth Stage – Oral Surgery Clinic – Laboratory Provides students with training in the fundamentals of oral surgery and basic surgical procedures. Fifth Stage – Oral Surgery Clinic – Laboratory Focuses on advanced reconstructive surgeries of the oral cavity and jaws. CT Scan Laboratory Used for computed tomography (CT) imaging in the diagnosis of surgical cases related to oral and dental diseases. Periodontology Clinic–Laboratory Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases and the supporting tissues of the teeth. Implantology and Laser Unit Laboratory Focuses on dental implant procedures and the use of laser technology in dental treatments. Department of Prosthodontics Total number of laboratories (11) Dental Technology Laboratory – Second Stage Provides instruction in the fundamental principles of dental prosthesis fabrication and develops students’ manual and technical skills. Dental Technology Laboratory – Third Stage Focuses on advanced techniques in the fabrication of dental dentures and crowns. Dental Technology Research Laboratory – Postgraduate Studies Dedicated to conducting scientific research and developing materials and techniques in dental technology. Dental Materials Laboratory Specializes in the study of the physical and chemical properties of various dental materials. Casting Laboratory I Concentrates on teaching the basic principles of metal casting used in dental prostheses. Casting Laboratory II Focuses on advanced techniques in dental metal casting processes. Casting Laboratory – Postgraduate Studies Allocated for advanced research in the field of dental metal casting for postgraduate students. Fifth Stage – Dental Technology Clinic Laboratory Students apply their clinical experience in the fabrication of dental prostheses for patients. Maxillofacial Prosthetics Laboratory–Clinic Specializes in the fabrication of prostheses for patients with partial loss of facial and maxillofacial structures. Dental Technology Laboratory–Clinic – Fourth Stage Prepares students for initial clinical applications in dental technology. Special Needs and Geriatric Dentistry Laboratory–Clinic Focuses on providing dental care for individuals with special needs and the elderly, taking into account their specific health requirements. Department of Pedantic, Orthodontics and Preventive dentistry Total number of laboratories (5) Orthodontics Consultation Clinic–Laboratory Provides consultations and diagnosis of complex orthodontic cases. Fifth Stage – Orthodontics Clinic Laboratory Students apply orthodontic treatments under the supervision of the department’s academic staff. Pediatric Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry Clinic–Laboratory Specializes in the treatment of children’s teeth and the prevention of oral diseases. Orthodontics and Preventive Dentistry Research Laboratory Concerned with conducting scientific research in the fields of orthodontics and preventive dentistry. Orthodontics and Preventive Dentistry Laboratory – Fourth Stage Prepares students in the fundamentals of diagnosis, preventive dentistry, and orthodontic treatment. Department of Conservative Dentistry Total number of laboratories (7) Postgraduate Laboratory–Clinic of Conservative Dentistry Concerned with advanced clinical cases and scientific research in the field of Conservative Dentistry. Fifth Year – Conservative Dentistry Clinic – Laboratory Students apply various clinical conservative dental treatments. Fourth Year – Conservative Dentistry Clinic – Laboratory Prepares students to manage fundamental clinical cases. Conservative Dentistry Research Laboratory Dedicated to conducting scientific research in the field of Conservative Dentistry. Consultative Laboratory–Clinic of Conservative Dentistry Provides consultative services for complex cases in Conservative Dentistry. Dental Training Simulation Laboratory Provides a training environment that simulates real clinical practice for students. Dental Carving and Anatomy Laboratory Focuses on the study of dental anatomy and the development of manual skills. Department of Oral Diagnosis Total number of laboratories (9) Laboratory – Biopsy Clinic Specialized in obtaining tissue samples for pathological diagnostic purposes. Digital Histopathology Imaging Unit Laboratory Utilizes digital technologies for the examination and analysis of histological slides. Histological Sectioning Laboratory Concerned with the preparation of tissue sections for microscopic examination. Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Conducts advanced laboratory investigations for disease diagnosis. Dental Radiology Laboratory I Specialized in intraoral radiographic imaging for the diagnosis of dental caries and root diseases. Dental Radiology Laboratory II Focused on advanced dental radiographic techniques. Three-Dimensional Imaging Laboratory Provides three-dimensional imaging of the jaws for diagnostic purposes. Panoramic Radiography Laboratory Used for comprehensive panoramic imaging of the jaws and teeth.
