The workshop addressed raising awareness about the dangers of smoking and its health, psychological, and social consequences, in addition to introducing the scientific and behavioral methods that assist individuals in quitting smoking in accordance with the approved guideline manual, thereby contributing to the dissemination of health awareness within the university environment. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sinan Thanoon Abdullah, who provided an educational presentation on the hazards of smoking and the importance of avoiding it, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening health awareness among students and staff members in order to preserve their safety and well-being. This workshop comes the framework of the counseling and educational activities that the College of Dentistry is keen to organize in support of health awareness and to promote positive behaviors within the university community.
