Supervising the coding and inventorying of laboratory equipment and ensuring proper maintenance procedures. Monitoring the implementation of calibration programs for laboratory instruments and equipment in coordination with relevant authorities. Ensuring the application and documentation of approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within laboratories. Coordinating with university units and formations and preparing official responses to ministerial correspondence and directives. Conducting field visits to assess and evaluate the quality status of laboratories. Forming internal audit committees to conduct random inspections of scientific laboratories in order to evaluate the efficiency of laboratory testing procedures and the implementation of GLP standards and approved procedural methods. Monitoring the implementation of national GLP standards , as well as the international standard ISO 17025 for testing and calibration laboratories and ISO 27001 related to information security in computer laboratories, where applicable. Supervising the classification and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure proper operational performance. Following up on calibration programs for laboratory devices and equipment in cooperation with relevant institutions. Ensuring the proper documentation and application of approved procedural records within laboratory operations. Conducting regular field evaluations to monitor and assess laboratory quality performance. Establishing internal auditing committees to review random samples of technical laboratories in order to evaluate compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards and procedural methods, as well as preparing statistical analyses and studies related to scientific laboratories .
